Frequently Asked
Most residential garage floors are completed in a single day. Metallic epoxy systems and larger commercial projects typically take 1–2 days. Large warehouse floors (10,000+ sq ft) may take 3–7 days depending on surface prep requirements.
With our polyaspartic topcoat system, light foot traffic is typically safe within 6–8 hours. Vehicle traffic can usually resume within 24 hours. We use fast-cure systems specifically to minimize your downtime.
Yes. Part of our surface preparation process includes crack injection, joint stabilization, and grinding to create a smooth, uniform surface. We address structural issues before any coating is applied.
Our premium polyaspartic topcoat systems are rated for 15–20+ years in residential applications. Commercial and industrial systems, depending on traffic load, typically last 10–15 years before requiring a topcoat refresh.
Standard high-gloss epoxy can be slippery when wet. We offer anti-slip additives (aluminum oxide or shark grip) and full-broadcast flake systems that provide excellent wet traction. We recommend the appropriate texture for your use case.
Epoxy is the base coating system that bonds to concrete and provides the decorative layer. Polyaspartic is a UV-stable topcoat applied over epoxy — it cures faster, resists yellowing from UV exposure, and provides superior abrasion resistance. We use both in combination for optimal results.
